Cookies Policy
Last updated: 26 April 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember things about your visit — like whether you're logged in or what your preferences are.
Similar technologies (local storage, session storage) work in much the same way. This policy covers both.
2. The marketing site (tradgo.co.uk)
The TradGo marketing site is a static website. We do not use any cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential purpose on the marketing pages.
Cloudflare (our CDN provider) may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes, such as detecting bot traffic and protecting against denial-of-service attacks. These are essential to keeping the site online and don't track you across other websites.
3. The app (app.tradgo.co.uk)
When you use the TradGo dashboard at app.tradgo.co.uk, the following cookies and similar storage are used:
Strictly necessary
- Authentication cookies (Clerk): Keep you signed in to your account. Without these, the service cannot function.
- Session cookies: Maintain your session as you navigate between pages.
- CSRF protection: Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Stripe (when subscribing): Stripe sets cookies during the checkout flow to process payments securely. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Cloudflare: Same as the marketing site — security and bot protection.
These cookies are essential for the service and do not require consent under UK law (PECR Regulation 6(4)).
4. What we do NOT use
TradGo does not use:
- Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking
- Advertising cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first via a cookie banner.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the TradGo dashboard from functioning properly — you won't be able to sign in.

6. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use cookies, we'll update this page. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
