How does TradGo know what an electrical job is worth? +
During onboarding you set ballpark prices for the work you do most often — consumer unit changes, EICRs, additional sockets, EV chargers, full rewires. The agent uses your ranges to give customers an honest ballpark and flag anything outside those ranges for your approval.
Will the agent give pricing without me approving it first? +
Only if you've set a clear price range for that exact type of work. Anything outside your set ranges is held for your approval before sending. You can review, edit, or reject every estimate from your dashboard. You're never blindsided by a price the agent quoted.
What if a customer says it's an emergency? +
TradGo escalates anything that sounds dangerous — burning smells, sparking, exposed wires, smoke. The agent tells the customer to switch off the power at the consumer unit and call 999 if there's a fire risk, then alerts you immediately so you can call them back.
Does TradGo handle EICR enquiries differently? +
